CBCT (Cone-Beam Computed Tomography)
Our 3D imaging technology gives us a detailed view of hard tissue structures such as teeth, bone, and jaw joints. CBCT serves several purposes, including identifying tumors, assessing impacted teeth, screen for airway issues, and ensuring accurate dental implant placement.
Dental Lasers
Lasers have transformed modern dentistry by making treatments more effective, more comfortable, and quicker to heal. We use several types of lasers for a variety of purposes, including periodontal care, relief from muscle and joint pain, and even improving nasal breathing.
Digital X-Rays
Unlike traditional film X-rays, digital X-rays use a sensor to capture images instantly with far less radiation exposure. They help us detect cavities, developmental abnormalities, and misaligned teeth while being safer for patients and our team. You can receive images right away and keep them safely stored for later use.
CEREC Same-Day Crowns
With CAD/CAM technology, we can design and place natural-looking porcelain crowns in just one visit. Forget about messy impressions, temporary crowns, or waiting weeks for a lab—your crown is created and fitted right here in our office.
3D Printing
Our in-house 3D printer allows us to create custom oral appliances and devices quickly and accurately. From nightguards to other specialized tools, 3D printing gives us the ability to tailor solutions for your unique dental health needs.
EMS Airflow®
This state-of-the-art hygiene system uses a gentle stream of air, warm water, and fine powder to remove plaque, biofilm, and stains—even in hard-to-reach areas. Unlike traditional scraping methods, Airflow is comfortable, minimally invasive, and especially helpful for patients with implants, orthodontic appliances, or sensitive teeth. It leaves your smile brighter, your teeth smoother, and your gums healthier.
CO₂ Laser Technology
At Bend Dental Group, we’re proud to offer CO₂ laser technology, one of the most advanced and precise tools available in modern dentistry. This innovative laser uses a focused beam of light energy to gently remove or reshape soft tissue with exceptional accuracy and minimal discomfort. Compared to traditional methods, CO₂ laser treatment offers faster healing, reduced bleeding, and less postoperative sensitivity. It’s used for a variety of soft tissue procedures, including:
- Gum contouring
- Frenectomies
- Treating ulcers or lesions
- Stimulating tissue regeneration
Because the laser seals blood vessels and nerve endings as it works, most procedures require little to no anesthesia. Patients typically experience quicker recovery, minimal discomfort, and outstanding results.
CO₂ Laser Cold Sore Therapy
We also use CO₂ laser technology to provide fast, effective cold sore treatment. The laser emits a concentrated beam of light energy that gently vaporizes the affected tissue and targets the virus responsible for the outbreak—without direct contact or pain. For best results, treatment should be performed within the first 24–48 hours of symptoms (the tingling or burning stage).
When treated early, CO₂ laser therapy can often stop the sore from fully developing, while significantly reducing pain, inflammation, and healing time. The procedure is quick, anesthesia-free, and promotes the rapid regeneration of healthy tissue. Patients who receive CO₂ laser therapy often report fewer and less severe recurrences over time, making it an ideal option for anyone prone to frequent outbreaks.
